Annie Wersching
Annie
Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actor who is known for her part
as Renee Walker in the American television series 24 and also for her voice
work and motion capture for the character of Tess in Naughty Dog's video game
The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there.
She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central
West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. [ Wersching began her acting career
after a guest appearance on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then went on to
play playing guest stars in shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural
and Cold Case. From March 2007 through November 2007 she had playing the role
of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. She also appeared
in theaters such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, and the Utah
Shakespearean Festival During her teenage years, she performed in Irish dance
and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She holds received a Bachelor
of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999.
After her two-season time in 24 Wersching played a guest role on numerous shows
which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof,
Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which
includes her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was a series regular
for the first season of Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching portrayed the
role of catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star
Legends, Celebrity Softball Game. Wersching also voiced the character Tess in
The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on
Twitter before her identity was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story
trailer on December 7 the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was to play the part
of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in season 2.
